Accessibility Statement

Accessibility

AUREN has not yet completed a formal accessibility audit. The items below describe our design intent and targets, not a confirmed, tested compliance status. This page will be updated with audit results once one has been carried out.

WCAG 2.1 AA as our target standard

We are building AUREN toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is our target, not yet a confirmed, audited state — see the note below.

Keyboard navigation

Every interactive element — navigation menus, forms, the AI chat assistant — is intended to be usable without a mouse.

Readable, plain-language content

AUREN's guidance is deliberately written in plain English, avoiding unexplained jargon, for readers with varying digital literacy and varying reading needs.

Responsive, mobile-first design

Pages are designed to work at any screen size and zoom level, since many parents will reach AUREN from a phone in an urgent moment.

If you use assistive technology and something on AUREN doesn't work for you, please let us know — accessibility issues are treated as a priority, not general feedback.
